We are seeking a Program Instructor to join our team, at the program in Crafton, PA. Earn $21/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option. Earn $23/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option and a qualified degree. This is professional work providing Adult Day Program activities (i.e., vocational training, refinement of independent living skills, cognitive development, social skills, appropriate use of leisure time, mobility, sensory and perceptual motor skills, etc.) for Individuals with developmental disabilities. A high degree of flexibility, organizational skills and creativity is required of this employee.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year IDD experience with a high school diploma or GED
Position requires a high degree of flexibility, creativity, leadership, and organizational skills.
Valid and Current Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Provide initial, annual and as needed evaluations for each individual
Develop and implement a planned program of Adult Day Program activities
Devise and implement Individual goal plans
Follow policies and procedures of assigned program area
Prepares and maintains documentation for the individuals' progress in programs and record of participation
Assists with feeding and/or oral stimulation programs as scheduled
Assists with escorting and positioning of Individuals
Copes with day-to-day problems and maintains a positive attitude
Ability to report and/or document observations
