About The Position

The Program Instructor provides engaging, supportive, and structured activities for adults with developmental disabilities. This role plays a vital part in helping individuals develop skills that promote independence, confidence, and quality of life.

Requirements

• Candidates with IDD experience will be considered
• Position requires flexibility, creativity, leadership, and organizational skills
• Valid and current driver's license

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Adult Day Program activities, including: Vocational training, Independent living skills, Cognitive and social development, Leisure and recreational activities, Mobility, sensory, and perceptual motor skills
• Support individuals in developing computer and basic technology skills
• Encourage participation while adapting activities to meet individual needs
• Maintain a positive, flexible, and person-centered approach
• Collaborate with team members to support individualized goals
