The Program Finance Analyst will support the financial management of programs within North Wind. This role involves assisting with program data analysis, generating reports, customer deliverables, maintenance of critical financial data, and helping monitor financial performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with Program Managers and the finance team, contributing to program budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis on multiple programs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
  • 2+ years in related discipline.
  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to above.

  • Prior government contracting experience.

  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP software.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and provide guidance to Program Managers and leadership related to the financial performance of contracts.
  • Assist Program Managers and leadership with tracking and reporting the financial performance of programs.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial forecasts, invoices, and program reporting.
  • Help monitor program budgeting, controls, performance, and variance analysis including supporting program reviews and helping program managers with cost reduction efforts including early identification of forecast shortfalls and the timely execution of countermeasures and variance analysis process.
  • Support program revenue recognition and cash forecasting including managing, coordinating, and maintaining the financial and planning activities of the business's program portfolio, including monthly bookings/sales/EBITA/cash flow forecasting and analysis.
  • Contribute to proposal pricing efforts, preparing financial tables, and supporting payment schedule/milestone tracking.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve program financial reporting processes.
