About The Position

Parsons is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Finance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of financial principles.

Requirements

Active Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
Experience with financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Occasional Project travel may be required

Nice To Haves

Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to forecasts and budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial models and tools.
Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting needs.
Stay updated on industry trends and economic developments to inform financial strategies.
