About The Position

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Program Finance Analyst, Lead to join our finance team in Beaver Creek, OH. This is a critical role supporting multiple programs in our Airborne Systems Business Area. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects for programs to create and maintain a program's budget and schedule, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution. You may prepare and present financial forecasts, reports and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of program finance related experience, including experience on an EVMS program.
  • Strong organization, analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus, and hybrid contracts.
  • Prior government contracting industry experience required.
  • Requires an understanding of cost and schedule development and controls.
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications, such as OAC, Fusion, Insight, Cost Point, and Cognos, COBRA and PMX.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, track, analyze, and develop project reports of varying contract type, size complexity, and level of risk.
  • Develop, maintain, and/or track Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and related dictionaries the Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS), Control Accounts, Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), change management process, work authorization process, material control, cost collection, technical performance, integrated reporting, forecasting Estimates at Completion (EACs), and implementing corrective actions.
  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, managing subcontractor hours, costs, and funding needs, as well as analysis of all contract cost and financial data to include EAC management.
  • Participate in the scheduling, planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of all dollars on the program.
  • Provide backup and calculation of accruals every period.
  • Support program invoicing.
  • Provide data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program financial reviews.
  • Significant interface with the Program Managers, Contracts, FP&A, IT, Logistics, Procurement, Quality and other Support organizations.
