About The Position

The Families First Facilitator plays a crucial role in supporting and conducting classes for the local program, focusing on the goals and objectives of the Fatherhood Program. This part-time position requires effective communication and organizational skills to work with diverse individuals and ensure adherence to program regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A bachelor's degree in social service field is preferred.
  • ABI/FBI criminal background check, local background check, and a DHR CA/N clearance required.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Working knowledge of existing ALCFRC programs and services.
  • Computer competency required; O365 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct classes with case manager as outlined by the curriculum and in-keeping with program goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that program participants adhere to the rules and regulations of the Fatherhood Program.
  • Submit time, attendance, travel, leave, and required documents as required.
  • Attend staff meetings, quarterly board meetings, relevant workshops/conferences, and other meetings assigned to staff.
  • Support ALCFRC sponsored activities.
