About The Position

Join our team as a Program Director where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction and driving project success within our agency. With oversight of project managers, direct communication with account managers, and strategic leadership, you'll ensure efficient and effective project execution. With strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, you'll assume dual responsibilities, overseeing the project management team and directly managing assigned client accounts. Guiding project managers, managing budgets and estimates, and actively contributing to new business meetings and pitches, you'll reinforce our commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or related field.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or relevant advertising industry certifications.
  • 5+ years of experience in advertising project management.
  • Experience managing various advertising campaigns (print, digital, social media, websites, etc.).
  • Familiarity with specific industries or clients, such as healthcare or telecommunications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., WMJ).
  • Experience with budget management, resource allocation, and timeline tracking.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced advertising environment.
  • Readiness to adapt to changing circumstances, client needs, and industry trends.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in project delivery.
  • Ability to maintain focus, motivation, and positivity in the face of tight deadlines and challenges.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication skills, the ability to inspire and motivate teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our project management team with a clear strategic vision, guiding every project to triumph.
  • Craft and oversee training programs, setting ambitious goals to boost team performance and productivity.
  • Manage tasks, budgets, and estimates meticulously, ensuring resources are smartly allocated and projects adhere to their timelines.
  • Assign clients to project managers thoughtfully, balance team workloads, and refine our processes for peak efficiency.
  • Keep in sync with account managers, deeply understanding client goals to ensure our projects are perfectly aligned.
  • Take charge of select accounts, shepherding projects from start to finish with a keen eye for detail and success.
  • Prepare and review estimates with account managers, guaranteeing our projects hit the mark financially for our clients.
  • Ensure all completed client projects are meticulously filed and documented on our agency server.
  • Regularly review project materials to spot and address potential challenges, keeping us on the path to improvement.
  • Tackle project challenges head-on, employing innovative solutions to keep us moving forward.
  • Collaborate with fellow agency directors, crafting strategies that bolster our collective growth and performance.
  • Host weekly touchpoints with project managers, offering the support and feedback crucial for their success and development.
  • Promote a team-oriented approach, creating an environment where project managers thrive together.
  • Propose and implement new systems and goals that enhance productivity and provide clear performance insights.
