The 3Rivers FCU Family YMCA is looking for an energetic, outgoing team player to fill the position of Program Director to grow the current membership and wellness programming including group exercise, personal training, wellness coaching and wellness focused events.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Four-year degree preferred but will consider an equivalent combination of education/work experience.
  • One to two years related leadership experience preferred.
  • An elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
  • Experience in, or ability to, expertly relate to diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the hiring, training, and development of all membership and wellness staff.
  • Work alongside the instructors, wellness coaches and assistants to keep the wellness areas clean and efficient, help members meet their wellness goals and grow participation in classes.
  • Develop, implement and promote successful membership and wellness programs and events to meet the needs of the community and fulfill YMCA objectives.
  • Build relationships with members, support staff, be positive, friendly, and helpful.
