Position Summary The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, supervising assigned staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. This role serves as a liaison between internal departments and external agencies, ensuring program compliance, safety, and effective service delivery.

Requirements

BA Degree in Human Services, Social Work or related social service field preferred.
Associate degree or seven (7) years of supervisory experience required .
Must be able to transport self to other locations.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily program operations, including monitoring the physical environment and service delivery.
Provide direct supervision to Assistant Managers, Counselor Aides, and Client Coordinators, ensuring staff performance and development.
Monitor billing processes using internal and external systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing candidates and providing hiring recommendations.
Ensure resident safety by coordinating emergency preparedness activities, including fire drills and evacuation procedures.
Conduct screenings for prospective residents, including off-site visits to hospitals or other facilities as needed.
Facilitate staff trainings on documentation, service planning, and best practices.
Provide crisis intervention and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Organize and lead staff meetings and resident community meetings to review program operations and address concerns.
Prepare payroll, including overtime justifications, and complete monthly program reports.
Review and approve program expenditures, including purchase requisitions, food orders, and petty cash usage.
Monitor and investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and maintain accurate records.
Oversee facility maintenance needs and report any safety concerns.
Ensure staff compliance with required trainings and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with external service providers to enhance resident care and staff development.
Develop and implement tracking tools and processes to support regulatory compliance.
Maintain clear and effective communication with staff and leadership.
Oversee compliance with electronic records systems and documentation standards.
Support programming for individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders, including facilitating groups as needed.
Provide direct support in crisis situations, including physical intervention and administration of first aid when required.
Participate in program operations during staff shortages or absences.
Represent the program at meetings and trainings as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with agency policies.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel between program sites as needed.
Operate an agency vehicle when required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
