About The Position

Are you a master of process, collaboration, and problem-solving? As a Program Director at Critical Mass, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the way we work, ensuring seamless project execution, and driving efficiency across teams and agencies. You’ll be the strategic glue between disciplines, balancing agency needs while championing process improvements and fostering collaboration. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love creating structure out of complexity, this role is for you. This is a contract role with a projected end date of July 31, 2026. As such, the salary range noted is an hourly rate. Our new hires & employees are the future of our organization, and we want to set you up for long-term success. In an effort to do so, we expect our team to work from an office a minimum of 3 days a week.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years-experience managing a variety of digital project types including technical project execution. Experience in integrated advertising campaigns, performance marketing, and media are considered an asset.
  • Experience with office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, MS Project, Smartsheets, and Keynote.
  • Experience with collaboration and issue tracking tools such as Sharepoint, Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience guiding teams and conversations with clients around scope, schedule, and budget as well as roadmaps, goals, and strategies.
  • Strong ability to manage and control project scope, schedule, budget and resource management / reporting and change management, project roadmap development and revenue forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Ability to tactically organize and structure activities, paying particular attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills, which translate issues into viable work solutions.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with refined decision-making skills.
  • The ability to stay focused on the driving goals, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Ownership and accountability of clients’ business needs and ability to drive to solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish clear processes for scope changes, including upsizing, swaps, and incremental scope management
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and ownership levels for project approaches, ensuring alignment across teams
  • Lead and facilitate project scope conversations, bringing together inputs from multiple disciplines to create a holistic approach
  • Act as an agency-agnostic voice to ensure project timelines are used effectively across all disciplines
  • Oversee team forecasting, workload stacking, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency
  • Develop and maintain the process improvement roadmap, driving collaboration and continuous optimization
  • Set governance standards and ensure adherence to established processes across all lines of business (LOBs)
  • Serve as a point of escalation for process feedback, ensuring balance and alignment between different agency focuses
