  • Ensure clinical programs adhere to organizational policies and meet certification standards (e.g., CARF, DMH) related to quality and clinical care.
  • Develop Clinical Supervisors and staff to promote high-quality, evidence-based care, while aligning the team with the organization’s mission and vision.
  • Oversee service delivery, ensuring appropriate levels of care, verifying the justification of services, and reviewing performance related to service hours and clinical outcomes.
  • Provide direct supervision to assigned clinical team members, identifying areas for improvement and addressing performance issues.
  • Optimize clinical resources, maintaining cost-effective care while ensuring high standards.
  • Advocate for clients, ensuring their needs are addressed both within and outside of the organization.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Revenue Cycle, Quality Improvement (QI), and administrative teams to resolve program-related issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and enhance the clinical competencies of team leaders, ensuring interventions are effective and program objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors to address clinical issues and escalate concerns to Executive Leadership when necessary.
  • Conduct regular record reviews to ensure compliance with accreditation standards, program policies, and QI indicators.
  • Perform additional tasks supporting overall clinical operations and organizational goals.
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, or a closely related field.
  • Three or more years of professional experience in behavioral healthcare or substance use disorder rehabilitation, with at least one year of supervisory experience in substance use treatment.
  • Must meet the requirements to be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP).
  • Ability to conduct analytical evaluations and communicate effectively with leadership and other program stakeholders.
  • Thorough knowledge of clinical best practices and techniques for mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
  • Skilled in supervision and training methods, with a strong ability to develop and coordinate services and implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate corporate vision and values in day-to-day activities.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of diagnostic criteria for substance use and mental health disorders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of the department.
  • Take an active role in monitoring and executing the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives.
  • Effectively communicate any changes and newsworthy events within the department or company to team members.
  • Handle difficult team member situations directly, using appropriate discretion and advice from Human Resources.
  • Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas, supporting input from team members at all levels within the company.
  • Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks.
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
  • Completion of all training requirements, including Relias, at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Preference for candidates who are fully licensed as a social worker in the state of employment, such as holding an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or equivalent state licensure.
