About The Position

NorthBay Health’s Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program is
responsible for the leadership, organization, operation, and overall
administration of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. This role establishes
the strategic direction of the program and is accountable for maintaining its
standards, quality, and reputation.

In partnership with physician practices and hospital clinical services, the
position integrates the Internal Medicine Residency Program in a manner that
enhances value and quality while promoting an optimal environment for
professional practice and medical education.

The Program Director designs and conducts the program in alignment with the
needs of the community, the mission of NorthBay Health (the sponsoring
Institution), and the mission of the residency program. Additionally, the
Program Director administers and maintains a learning environment conducive to
educating residents across all ACGME Competency domains.
