Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work/Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Five years' experience in field.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to travel between Iowa and Nebraska service locations.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Navigation Services: Oversee the Navigation teams responsible for identifying, engaging, and supporting individuals who may be underserved, disconnected from services, or hesitant to engage in care.
  • Ensure services are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and welcoming.
  • Oversee Peer Centers (Iowa and Nebraska): Manage operations of day-time Peer Centers that offer safe, supportive, and empowering environments for community members.
  • Guide programming that promotes wellness, recovery, and peer connection through lived experience.
  • Supervise Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation (IPR): Direct the IPR program, ensuring services promote recovery, community reintegration, and skill-building for individuals with serious mental illness.
  • Lead and facilitate an Advisory Council: Support and guide the implementation of CCBHC initiatives, ensuring alignment with community needs and client engagement.
  • Promote Community Engagement and Access: Develop and lead outreach strategies to connect with marginalized and under-resourced populations.
  • Utilize data and community input to inform equitable service expansion and program refinement.
  • Integrate Services into the CCBHC Model: Ensure that Navigation, Peer, and IPR services align with the CCBHC model of whole-person, recovery oriented, and accessible care.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support seamless care transitions and reduce service fragmentation.
  • Build and Strengthen Community Partnerships: Actively engage with local partners including shelters, law enforcement, healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and grassroots organizations to increase referrals, visibility, and impact.
  • Streamline Cross-State Operations: Identify opportunities to align services, processes, and documentation across Iowa and Nebraska programs.
  • Support staff training and resource development to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across sites.
  • Use Data to Inform Decision-Making: Regularly review and interpret program data and outcome measures.
  • Use findings to inform team performance, service enhancements, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support Staff Development and Supervision: Provide direct supervision to managers and team leads within the programs.
  • Promote staff wellness, reflective supervision, and professional growth within a trauma-informed framework.
  • Enhance Client Experience and Outcomes: Use feedback, data, and storytelling to improve service responsiveness, reduce barriers to engagement, and ensure services are person-centered and recovery-driven.
  • Collaborate on Grant and Contract Deliverables: Ensure that all services under this role meet program objectives, compliance standards, and reporting requirements in collaboration with grants and quality assurance teams.
