About The Position

If working within a community setting serving adolescent males with intellectual developmental disorders and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders sounds like a rewarding career then look no further! At our Gatehouse group home located in Rutland, MA, you will work with other dedicated staff in a community setting focusing on generalizing and increasing social skills and independent living skills. You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You would be responsible for the overall daily operations of a group home including program development, supervision of residential staff, management of program budget, integration of community opportunities for youth, and assurance of quality of milieu services. This group home serves a male population of individuals ages 14-21 years old. Staffing ratios are 1:3.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a residential treatment setting.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience required.
• Ability to complete 2 weeks orientation training, Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, in Rutland.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the group home.
• Develop and implement programs for residents.
• Supervise residential staff.
• Manage program budget.
• Integrate community opportunities for youth.
• Ensure quality of milieu services.
• Provide therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
