About The Position

The Program Director for Global Supply Chains at the Office of Economic Security and Emerging Technologies (OESET) is responsible for enhancing the Intelligence Community's (IC) capabilities in understanding and managing global supply chains, particularly in the context of disruptive technologies. This role involves supporting high-level policy engagements, facilitating collaboration across various stakeholders, and ensuring that the IC is well-equipped to address economic security and emerging technology challenges.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of IC resource processes and mission management principles.
  • Ability to develop innovative initiatives and solve complex problems.
  • Experience in driving interagency progress and focusing on intelligence gaps.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in leading interagency working groups and building coalitions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of drafting reports for diverse audiences.

  • Experience representing the IC in engagements with senior government officials.

  • Familiarity with the intelligence cycle and its various components.
  • Experience in coordinating planning, programming, and budgeting activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the National Intelligence Manager (NIM) for Economic Security and Emerging Technologies (ESET) by integrating the IC's analytic, collection, and counterintelligence capabilities.
  • Prepare talking points and background information for high-level policy and partnership meetings.
  • Support briefings to senior IC officials regarding collaboration progress and challenges.
  • Represent the ODNI in national level working groups and committees as needed.
  • Shape resource planning for the ESET mission and propose innovative solutions to resource shortfalls.
  • Inform national security response planning and IC strategy development.
  • Ensure effective alignment and timely implementation of portfolio efforts to flagship collaboration initiatives.
