About The Position

The Family Support Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Family Support Program and Center. This role includes supervising program staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing fiscal allocations, and providing crisis intervention as needed. The manager will also assist in policy development and maintain documentation standards, while collaborating with various departments to ensure program effectiveness and compliance.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Psychology or related field preferred.
  • Two years of previous work experience in a human service setting.
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, personal maturity, common sense, and good judgment.
  • Demonstrated organizational, clinical, and professional writing skills.
  • Ability to work within complex housing, shelter, psychiatric, and medical systems.
  • Ability to work with others in a manner that promotes teamwork and community integration.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work with people with disabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Cape Verdean, Creole, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese preferred.
  • Experience in crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Family Support Program and Center.
  • Supervise and support program staff through weekly supervision, staff meetings, and evaluations.
  • Provide crisis prevention and intervention with families as needed.
  • Assist in the development and administration of policies and procedures for the program.
  • Ensure clinical and programmatic documentation meets Bay Cove Human Services and DDS standards.
  • Maintain compliance with agency and regulatory standards, including QA audits and licensing requirements.
  • Manage fiscal allocations and maintain fiscal information, including reporting.
  • Act as liaison between the Family Support application (BAYCIS) and information services.
  • Review and maintain expenditure plans and personal budgets for families.
  • Monitor and submit monthly service delivery reports and billing.
  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure accuracy between contracts and expenditure plans.
  • Process all Family Support authorizations for service and amendments.
