The Program Development Associate plays a vital part in shaping new academic offerings and serving as a key contributor to the growth and long-term sustainability of the McDonough School of Business. Specifically, the Program Development Associate, operating out of the Office of the Dean, will support the planning, development, and implementation of academic and co-curricular programming for the Georgetown Miami initiative, a strategic expansion of Georgetown University into the greater Miami region. The individual in this role will focus on developmental workstreams that will prepare Georgetown for the launch and growth of undergraduate and graduate offerings in Miami, including early graduate programming (e.g., MA-IBP) and future undergraduate residencies. This role will collaborate closely with representatives of the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown College of Arts & Sciences, the Walsh School of Foreign Service, and university-wide administrative partners. The individual in this role will provide essential support in program design, facilities planning, student life programming, compliance with Florida’s Commission for Independent Education (CIE) and Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), and alumni and stakeholder engagement. Ultimately, the role will contribute substantively to the early phases of program development and community building in Miami that are necessary for a successful launch of Georgetown’s presence and future expansion.
