There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
The High Road Training Partnership Grant Program Coordinator will oversee all logistical aspects of the peer workforce grant in San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County using a trauma informed approach. The program coordinator acts as the liaison between TMHA and our sub-recipient partners, SHARE (Self-Help and Recovery Exchange), CAMPHRO (California Association of Mental Health Peer Run Organizations) and Santa Barbara’s Mental Wellness Center program. They will recruit, train, and supervise the full time vocational Specialist, as well as paid interns interested in working in the behavioral health field. They will identify and coordinate appropriate trainings for peer staff and interns. The High Roads Training Partnership (HRTP) will elevate the capacity and expertise of existing peer staff who are building careers in the field and provide ongoing training and support for peer staff in the workplace. Interns will receive a high level of formal on-the-job training as well as participate in peer certification “extended education” training provided through this project. The ultimate goal is to recruit future peer staff as positions become available at the agency or in our local system of care.
