The Program Coordinator I is the primary support for a clinical/administrative department. This position is responsible for general office operations, filing, organizing and overall administrative performance. The Office Manager I may supervise more than three (3) employees, i.e., secretaries and or receptionists.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients, visitors, and other employees.
  • Interact professionally, courteously, and appropriately with patients, visitors and other employees.
  • Contribute to and participate in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of the assigned department.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the Gilead project including management of the project timeline, project goals, coordinating case management meetings, liaising with Hospital clinical leadership.
  • Provide project leadership by serving as the ‘brainstorming' engine by continually contributing to ideation methods and work-plan implementation.
  • Coordinate and supervise the maintenance, monitoring, recording patients' medical records, follow-up, and lab data.
  • Collaborate with various teams on effective adjustments to their management communications, evaluations, planning and monitoring.
  • Cultivate and present sound recommendations and resolutions to program problems allowing for smooth operation of the multi-disciplinary department management team.
  • Conduct a proper evaluation of the program, including check-ins through the program and a final evaluation at the end and develop posters/publications for dissemination.
  • Create all policies and procedures for the program and revise as needed.
  • Ensure and account for activities of peer counselors as it relates to the grant goals.
  • Three to five (3-5) years demonstrated experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office supervisor.
  • Satisfactory combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in leadership/program management.
  • Relevant clinical experience.
  • Bachelor's in Allied Field.
  • Master's in Allied Field, MPH.
  • Experience handling sensitive data.
  • Database and computer experience.
  • Extensive Computer Knowledge.
