About The Position

Samsung’s Corporate Citizenship Team is seeking a Program Coordinator to support the flagship Solve for Tomorrow STEM competition. This program encourages students across the United States to apply Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) to solve real-world problems in their communities. This role will work closely with the program lead and support the end-to-end coordination of the competition lifecycle, including program logistics, partner coordination, communications with educators, and operational management of contracts, invoices, and program deliverables. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in program coordination, project coordination, operations, or administrative roles
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulasExperience managing contracts, invoices, vendor coordination, or structured approval processes
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work with educators, partners, and internal teams
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely within a small team

  • Interest in corporate social responsibility, community impact, education programs, or nonprofit initiatives is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow STEM competition throughout the full program lifecycle
  • Coordinate and manage multiple tasks, timelines, and logistics across the competition process
  • Maintain communication with educators participating in the competition to provide resources and support
  • Assist with planning and execution of the final competition event where finalists present their solutions
  • Coordinate with nonprofit partners and external stakeholders through regular check-ins
  • Review Statements of Work (SOWs) and support internal approval processes for partner agreements
  • Manage and track contracts and invoices to ensure timely approvals and payments
  • Maintain program documentation, lists, and reporting using Microsoft Excel
  • Support marketing and program launch efforts during high-volume campaign periods
  • Assist with post-event reporting, program summaries, and research for program improvements
