The Program Coordinator ensures compliance with all aspects of the program related to the persons served, the Organization, the employees, and property. The Program Coordinator is responsible for providing effective leadership and accountability to foster growth and development in the team of Direct Support staff. The Program Coordinator provides comprehensive personal care, guidance, and appropriate support tailored to the needs of each person. At Opportunity Matters, we encourage the persons served to be as independent as possible, by teaching independent living skills. Depending on the needs of the person, the work may include performing the tasks completely for others, or it may be assisting in the completion of the tasks. Program Coordinators have a strong desire to create positive impacts on the lives of persons served and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals.
