The Program Coordinator provides support to the Assistant Director with the program operations and monitoring and ensuring compliance with the program grant requirements. This is a renewable eleven (11) month position funded by a grant. Essential Functions Supports the Assistant Director by coordinating daily operations, and monitoring program activities to ensure compliance with grant requirements with Stockton Unified School District. Provides oversight, direction and support to student and temporary casual employees involved in the program to ensure satisfactory attendance, performance and problem solving. Creates and monitors schedules. Assigns and reviews work. Substitutes as an after school program staff when necessary. Communicates with the Assistant Director as needed daily, weekly and monthly on program operations through both written and verbal means. Assist the Program Director in determining staffing for site locations, hiring and placement, training and coaching student and temporary casual employees. Assists in payroll, monitoring program budget and other administrative duties. Composes and prepares letters, correspondence, special reports, technical papers and presentations. Attends meeting and takes minutes for review and/or distribution. Liaison between University of the Pacific and Stockton Unified School District. Assists in recruitment of student and temporary casual employees. Monitors office equipment, facilities and duplicating services ensuring all are operational and have no need of repair. Orders unit’s supplies, repair of equipment and facilities when needed or requested. Responds to unit personnel on general inquiries and provides information to those the unit serves. Maintains a variety of department records both electronically and manually including but not limited to class enrollments, student records and areas of compliance. Recommends new procedures for streamlining administrative duties or office functions. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
