About The Position

Canyon Ridge Hospital is seeking a compassionate Outpatient Program Coordinator to manage daily operations of the outpatient program. This role involves coordinating patient activities, ensuring compliance with clinical documentation, and providing support during crisis situations. The coordinator will work closely with patients and staff to deliver high-quality behavioral healthcare services.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Possess a high degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical environment.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and lead the team in the absence of the Director of Clinical Services.
• Knowledge of advanced principles of abnormal psychology as applied to adults, geriatrics, and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outpatient program activities by checking patients and problem-solving challenges that arise.
• Orient new patients to the program and provide guidance to drivers.
• Supervise patients and assist with crisis intervention as needed.
• Complete daily billing including census/attendance, admit/discharge log, and billing charge sheets.
• Ensure department compliance concerning clinical documentation, including outcome completion and patient satisfaction surveys.
