About The Position

The Program Coordinator for the San Antonio Region at the Texas Workforce Commission is responsible for providing consultative services and technical assistance related to workforce programs. The position allows for significant telework, with a requirement to report to local offices bi-weekly and involves a mix of research, training, and policy development.

Requirements

• Two years of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong organizational skills and professional phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local RESEA resource to Board staff and service providers on service delivery, outreach, and training.
• Become a subject matter expert on local labor market, community support services, and the RESEA program.
• Conduct touchpoints with RESEA customers to validate compliance with individual reemployment plans and other RESEA requirements.
• Conduct research, program assessment, and preliminary investigations, and prepare reports.
• Support and present at RESEA conferences and conduct classroom training and webinars.
• Assist in developing program policies, procedures, standards, and manuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
