About The Position

This job works under minimal supervision to direct operation of program or project, exercising independent judgment and authority as required. The ideal candidate should possess strong program coordination experience with the ability to plan, launch, and manage research initiatives and events such as seminars, conferences, and departmental meetings. Excellent communication and marketing skills are essential for developing and managing newsletters, SharePoint content, and social media platforms while ensuring consistent branding. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Power Bl and Excel is required to compile and present metrics for leadership. The candidate should have experience supporting grant programs, maintaining trackers, and creating surveys, as well as managing budgets and fund allocations. Technical expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and REDCap is necessary, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, research teams, and administrative staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field
  • 5 years Experience in appropriate field or
  • May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation and procedures.
  • Develops or oversees development of budget for program.
  • Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal/external departments/agencies and other organizations associated with and/or receiving benefit from program.
  • Establishes program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities; develops and/or approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals.
  • Plans and coordinates special events. Participates in conferences. Presents data and program information.
  • Responsible for design, execution, and effectiveness of system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Reads literature and attends functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program.
  • May provide supervision to staff members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
