The Program Coordinator of Student Services at Texas A&M University's Bush School DC Teaching Site is a pivotal role designed to enhance the student experience through effective coordination and organization of various events, programs, and services. This position is integral to supporting students in their career development and ensuring they have access to the resources necessary for their success. The coordinator will work independently while also collaborating with various teams, including IT, Events, and Administrative teams, to create a supportive environment for students. The role involves meticulous planning and implementation of itineraries, room reservations, activities, calendar management, and catering for successful conferences, seminars, outreach events, and more. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a current calendar of events and ensuring that all logistics are handled efficiently. In addition to event coordination, the Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in career support by updating and maintaining internship and job listings, assisting with employer and alumni outreach, and advising students on networking and job search techniques. This includes communicating with current and former students about career opportunities and collaborating with various departments to align student needs with career goals. The coordinator will also be responsible for program communications, including disseminating information about matriculation, newsletters, and events, as well as maintaining relationships with stakeholders. The position requires a proactive approach to developing and maintaining student-focused materials and ensuring that all communications are clear and effective. The coordinator will also be tasked with organizing and maintaining student information systems, compiling program statistics, and performing other duties as assigned.
