Wage: $19.10 per hour (The rate of pay and pay scale provided for this position are based on title and geographical location) Full Range Scale - $19.10 - $21.30 As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role by providing compassionate care while enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. This is not a supervisory role. However, the PC is the lead staff for one residential In-Home program. What You Get to Do: Document and follow-up of individual and program related needs. Ensure compliance with policies and Washington Administrative Rules. One-on-one training of DSP staff. Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance. Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene and more. Shopping and meal preparation. Perform housekeeping and laundry duties, including cleaning, organizing, maintaining a safe and tidy living environment, and washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes and linens. Build relationships with persons served and teammates. Attend community outings and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events. Transport clients to appointments or other activities outside the home. Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest. Document progress, milestones, and action steps.

Requirements

  • 2 years of caregiving experience required
  • Observant and detailed oriented
  • Dependable, adaptable and flexible
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Valid drivers license required
  • 21 years or older
  • Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
