About The Position

The Program Coordinator II is responsible for providing supportive duties to the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center by coordinating the program evaluation activities for the EQUIPTT Center, a SAMHSA-funded Center that is part of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) (Grant #1H79SM085112), and administrative support to the Dissemination and Implementation (DI) Core of the NIH funded COBRE center, Building Resilience through innovative interventions to promote GROWTH & Health after Trauma (BRIGHT Center, Grant #1P2OGM156709-01). For the EQUIPTT Center, responsibilities include coordination, organization, data collection and analysis, preparation of reports, as required by SAMHSA, technology development (i.e., online learning courses, mobile apps, and other digital resources), consultation with other NCTSN centers regarding technology product development, as well as other administrative duties assigned by the program director. The PCII will also provide assistance on the Center’s training and technical assistance activities, including logistics, data collection, coordination, and other administrative activities as needed. The PCII also will be responsible for assisting in solving barriers to meeting program goals, and with corresponding with project partners and consultants as needed to complete all program activities. Responsibilities for the BRIGHT Center include administrative support (i.e., logistics, coordination with other cores, scheduling, recording minutes of meetings, assistance with data collection and reporting as required). The PCII is an integral team member to ensure that all required tasks are completed in a timely manner. The position is primarily in person but may allow for 1-2 days remote work as appropriate after one year. The position does require occasional after hours and weekend work, and occasional travel. Essential functions of this position are detailed below.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and two years relevant program experience.

  • Good peripheral vision capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction.
  • Ability to perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s level degree in program evaluation, statistics, public health, psychology or related field is preferred.
  • Experience in data collection, data entry, data management, data manipulation, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Ability to prepare and present reports communicating the results of data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Knowledge and experience in SPSS and CANVA is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Site Executive, RedCap, SurveyMonkey, as well as other survey software is preferred.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining websites is preferred.
  • Personable with good organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and training to staff and other participating partners.
  • Ability to plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion according to schedules and goals.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying policies and procedures.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Minimal supervision; must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the collection, organization, maintenance, and accuracy of data for all EQUIPTT program activities.
  • Assist in technology development, which includes online asynchronous learning courses, mobile apps, web-based apps, and other digital resources, and serves as consultant to other centers in the National Child Traumatic Stress Network who are developing technology products.
  • Assist in coordinating EQUIPTT training activities, including participant call schedules, maintenance of attendance records, inquiries from training participants, scheduling of make-up sessions, and communication to participants on a routine basis.
  • Assist Program Director in budgetary oversight of the activities funded under the EQUIPTT Center.
  • Responsible for collection, organization and accuracy of data for the DI Core of the COBRE Center, including assisting DI Core Director in writing and submitting required progress reports within the specified timeline, as well as providing administrative/logistic support for grant-related activities.
  • Abide by and meet all division requirements and objectives, and conduct other administrative duties as assigned by the Program Director.
  • Conduct special projects at Program Director’s request; procuring necessary supplies; and making travel arrangements for staff or consultant travel for grant-related activities. Also, frequent review of goals/objectives for EQUIPTT and the COBRE DI Core to ensure activities are completed according to the timeline, and, when necessary, assist in developing changes to program goals if needed.
