  • Provide leadership in electronic research administration and manage electronic submission of grant proposals.
  • Serve as a liaison with funding agencies to resolve issues related to grant applications and awards.
  • Prepare compliance sheets and forms for agreements and contracts for review and approval.
  • Draft subcontract documents and coordinate with collaborating institutions for review.
  • Prepare notices of awards for externally funded projects for approval.
  • Maintain databases of proposal submissions and awards, such as CAYUSE.
  • Provide regular reports on sponsored projects activities to management and agencies.
  • Identify funding opportunities relevant to departmental research initiatives.
  • Conduct workshops and informational sessions on proposal writing and compliance best practices.
  • Develop resources to enhance the proposal development process and improve institutional capacity for research funding.
  • Assist researchers in utilizing REDCap for data collection and management in grant-funded projects.
  • Provide training and support for faculty and staff on effective use of REDCap.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5 to 7 years of related experience in an academic setting, preferably at institutions striving for R1 status.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prepare detailed data reports and work independently.
  • Experience with federal and state funding regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with REDCap for data management.
