The Program Coordinator provides overall management and implementation of a specific program within a division. This role involves supervising daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Supervise daily operations of the program staff, making decisions and establishing procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.
Assist in the development and maintenance of a budget for the program, monitoring financial status and reviewing financial reports.
Represent the program at administrative meetings and relay pertinent information back to the program staff.
Submit regular reports concerning the operations of the program.
Evaluate and screen referrals to the program.
Coordinate services of the program with other relevant services, programs, or divisions.
Ensure ongoing development, implementation, and successful operation of program services in compliance with applicable standards.
Respond calmly and appropriately in crisis situations, implementing effective therapeutic interventions.
Remain current in knowledge of community agencies and resources to provide information and referrals.
Keep the Division Director informed of potential problem areas and outstanding performance.
Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and inservices.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a mental health related field preferred.
Must possess or obtain the highest level of licensure appropriate to degree.
Must possess or obtain the highest level of certification appropriate to degree.
Experience in clinical practice and supervision preferred.
Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.
