Kennesaw State University is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee various aspects of the football program, including staff management, financial processes, and recruitment operations. The role involves serving as the primary liaison for the football program, engaging with prospective and current student-athletes, families, and various stakeholders. Responsibilities include coordinating travel plans, managing recruiting documents, and organizing events related to the football program. The position also requires maintaining program databases and supporting department leaders with operational tasks during games.

  • Oversees assigned staff, student workers, interns, and student employment budget
  • Initial point of contact and primary liaison for the football program, engaging and consulting with prospective and current student-athletes, families, staff, faculty, donors, community members, NCAA and conference officials, representatives from other institutions, professional organizations, and/or media
  • Responsible for departmental financial and administrative processes, such as budget maintenance, purchase requisitions, check requests, travel requests, travel vouchers, and/or Purchasing Card (PCard) transactions
  • Coordinates travel plans and schedules for coaches and staff related to recruiting operations
  • Supports the onboarding process for new student-athletes each term and manages NCAA transfer portal data mining and communication to staff and coaches
  • Facilitates the ARMS recruiting pipeline process by forwarding all new recruits to staff and coaches and creates and manages staff room recruiting board data
  • Organizes events such as team banquets, official visits, game day recruiting visits, and signing day, including handling itineraries, hotel and meal reservations, transportation logistics, and PSA campus welcome
  • Manages recruiting documents related to social media, electronic recruiting systems, and on-campus visit manuals
  • Maintains program databases with accurate contact, general, and institutional information for coaches and administrators to use for communication and compliance purposes
  • Supports department leaders with travel and game day operations, including traveling with the team and handling ticket operations, meals, and other necessary duties during away games
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
  • One (1) years of related work experience
  • An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
  • Previous experience with program development and coordination
  • Previous experience in higher education
  • Prior experience in athletic environment
