Job Duties: The Program Coordinator I under general supervision, provides information and other program support functions to enhance services to youth enrolled in the extension of foster care (EFC) program. The primary focus will be on the EFC population by determining IV-E eligibility for youth under the EFC program and completing ongoing reviews, as required. This position will also assist with all IV-E Eligibility reviews. Reviews linked files in CAPSS in order to make IV-E eligibility determinations for youth enrolled in the EFC program. The files may include, but are not limited to, voluntary placement agreements, court orders, wage documents, etc. Assists in completion of IV-E eligibility reviews for all youth in foster care. Will Review CAPSS report on all foster care youth age 17 to ensure current court orders for EFC are obtained. Records eligibility data in the CAPSS system. Develops and maintains a procedural / process manual for EFC (Extension of Foster Care) services. Provides resources of information, technical assistance and training to case managers, supervisors, state office and outside entities regarding policies and procedures for Title IV-E and other related programs. Recommends and implements procedural changes as needed to promote efficiency and maximization of funding and services to clients. Prepares reports, assists in audits and participates in other program management functions as needed. Provides friendly customer service to employees, clients and other agencies personnel. Performs other related duties as required.
