About The Position

Your Role The Behavioral Health Operations Oversight team maintains program integrity and ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Program Coordinator, Experienced role will report to the Senior Manager, Behavioral Health Audits & Accreditation. In this role, you will support Blue Shield of California’s Behavioral Health program through audit and accreditation readiness efforts to meet federal and state requirements. Requirements

  • Requires a college degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires 3 years of prior relevant health plan experience
  • Requires experience supporting large scale programs and projects
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency with MS Office products

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with behavioral health regulatory and/or accreditation requirements is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for strategic alignment and integration across projects/programs, from initiation through delivery, in support of business unit process and administrative efficiency
  • Define projects required to support programs and partners to ensure their implementation on time, within budget and with benefits realized
  • Participate cross-functionally in business planning to support business unit strategy
  • Be responsible for large/complex projects/programs
  • Exercise independent judgement in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results
  • Fulfill additional assigned duties as directed
