About The Position

As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and development of both program operations and staff to support the needs of members served. You will oversee administrative staff and clinical staff to optimize service delivery for members assigned to the outpatient health home. Your role will include conducting periodic operational reviews, developing action plans, and assisting the Program Director in assessing the status of the operational process, projects, and issues important to the professional operation of the site. You will lead local processes related to verifying and monitoring member eligibility, collection of co-pays, and coordination of benefits for members receiving services. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the performance of the assigned programs and employees in providing operational, administrative, scheduling/coverage, clinical leadership, and coordination of services to members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
  • Two years of related experience or six years of behavioral health experience.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety or eligibility to receive within eight weeks of hire.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle screen.

  • Proficiency in typing and using EHR/EMR systems and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of the behavioral health care delivery system in Arizona.
  • Knowledge of management techniques and supervisory best practices.
  • Experience in staffing development and process improvement methods.

Responsibilities
