The Betsy Lehman Center is seeking a Program Coordinator to support its mission of improving health care safety and quality in Massachusetts. This full-time position involves providing administrative support for key programs, coordinating meetings, maintaining databases, and engaging with various stakeholders. The role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for flexibility in remote work while contributing to impactful public health initiatives.

  • Provide administrative support for three centerpiece programs: Patient and Family Advisory Councils, Peer Support, and CARe (Communication, Apology and Resolution).
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including scheduling, preparing correspondence, and taking notes.
  • Maintain database and spreadsheet files, conduct literature reviews, and prepare documentation for reports and presentations.
  • Attend webinars and forums on behalf of team members, taking notes to share with the team.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information to internal and external contacts.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks such as answering telephones and maintaining filing systems.
  • At least 3 years of professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management or public administration, or a Graduate degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Sharepoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and write concisely.
  • Experience working independently.
  • Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
