Requirements

  • BS/BA in related field plus 6 or more years related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • EVMS knowledge with previous experience in Program Control or Project Finance working externally reported EVM programs with a strong understanding of government requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of the BAE Systems SMS Earned Value Management System Description, Procedures, Directives and Work Instructions and applicable Data Item Description (DID) requirements.
  • Provide advice, direction, and hands on support to project organizations implementing compliant earned value practices.
  • Support the development of procedures, directives and work instructions.
  • Enforce compliance with EVMS policies, procedures and processes.
  • Support project efforts to resolve EVMS discrepancies identified through internal and external reviews.
  • Assist with setting up new programs to ensure they are compliant with current policies and procedures.
  • Provide BART Tool support for EVM.
  • Support program Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs).
  • Support Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs).
  • Provide assistance in generating Internal Audit Reports for Tier 1 Programs.
  • Support the DECM Metric process for reporting.
  • Develop and Present Training Content.
  • Participate in and drive EVM initiatives.
  • Review and audit EVM deliverables on programs as required.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule to include in-person onsite support three days or more each week with designated core onsite days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. There may be situations that warrant additional on-site effort.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
