About The Position

Provides supervision, opportunities, and skill development to participants served in NeArcs community-based day and work support program. Provides supervision, guidance, and training to assigned program case managers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience working with intellectually and/or developmentally disabled adults or other related experiences preferred.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communicator in both person and writing.
• Ability to communicate in English and or ASL via direct communication.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Must be able to stand/walk up to one hour uninterrupted.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience working with intellectually and/or developmentally disabled adults or other related experiences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate individuals progress periodically and make adjustments as needed to improve outcomes
• Evaluate and determine program participants interests and develop individual skills.
• Provides assigned caseload oversight by attending scheduled meetings, maintaining regular and professional contact with the participants team, completing all required documentation, and ensuring the participants progress in the program as determined by his or her goals.
• Creates individual goals to reflect the participants vision regarding skill development.
• Maintains all required documentation within required timeframes to include: Daily Data Monthly/Quarterly Progress Notes/6-month summaries in HCSIS Assessments Confidential Record updates
• Provides transportation to participants served in a personal or agency vehicle when one is available.
• Assists in obtaining appropriate volunteer placements for participants served and provides ongoing coaching support in these placements to ensure continued success.
• Attends and completes all required training assigned by the supervisor.
