About The Position

The Program Associate ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of program operations supporting government contracts. This role drives program management activities by coordinating tasks, tracking deliverables, and maintaining high-quality documentation to support performance and decision making. Serving as a key liaison across corporate teams, program staff, and government stakeholders, the specialist ensures alignment with deadlines, requirements, and reporting expectations. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in project management, administration, and employee relations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface professionally with government clients, managers, and staff at all levels.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to anticipate program and business unit needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with or exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) tools and data-driven technologies is a plus
  • Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and program efficiency
  • Prior experience supporting government contracts is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for program staff and employees.
  • Coordinate project activities to align with deliverables, timelines, and contract requirements.
  • Track action items, support reporting, and assist leadership with program execution
  • Develop, maintain, and update accurate and timely program documentation, technical documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Act as a liaison with HR on, onboarding, benefits and personnel-related matters.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and support onboarding activities.
  • Coordinate annual performance review processes, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
  • Review, approve, and track accurate employee timesheets.
  • Coordinate employee travel and training requests, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
