About The Position
The Irving Harris Foundation (IHF) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Program Associate for its Early Childhood and Reproductive Health and Justice (EC and RHJ) teams. This full-time position is pivotal in advancing the Foundation's mission to enhance the quality of life for children, families, and communities through strategic grantmaking and community engagement. The Program Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring equitable care and outcomes for pregnant and birthing individuals, infants, young children, and families, while also securing reproductive freedom for all. As the Foundation prepares for its sunset in 2032, the Program Associate will help ensure that resources are effectively utilized to benefit the communities served. In this role, the Program Associate will report to the Program Director of Early Childhood and work closely with the Program Director of Reproductive Health and Justice. The position involves project management, administrative support, collaboration with external partners, and cross-program support across various initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment, be proactive, and be committed to fostering equitable and inclusive practices. Responsibilities include overseeing project implementation, providing essential administrative support, engaging with grant partners, conducting research, and supporting the development of strong administrative systems. The Program Associate will also assist in field leadership efforts, support research and evaluation activities, and contribute to the Foundation's overall effectiveness.
