About The Position

DAILY PAY AVAILABLE Active Day has several opportunities for Program Assistant / PCA / Activities Assistant No Experience - No Problem! As long as you have PASSION, DEDICATION AND A DRIVE to serve others- We will train you! Full-Time, Part-Time and Per-Diem Available As a Program Assistant/Activities Assistant, you will provide loving care and assistance to our members by helping them with activities, personal and medical care, meals, and on and off-site social activities. Yes, our Program Assistants are most definitely ACTIVE!! Our Program Assistants are always smiling and creating a warm and welcoming environment, all while ensuring our members are safe, happy, and well. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred or a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience
At least 18 years of age.
One-year full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting preferred.
Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred.
Push, pull, lift, transfer, pivot at least 50 pounds.
Sit, Stand and/or Walk up to 8 hours a day

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred

Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting members with activities, personal care and some medical care
Assisting with the planning and facilitation of fun, creative and diverse recreational programs and encourage member participation.
Serving meals and assisting with meals
Ensuring our members enjoy a loving and caring environment that will bring joy to our members’ heart and a smile to their faces!
