About The Position

Provides support and assists with the overall administration and development of specific department programs. Responsibilities Provides support and assists with the overall implementation and development of TRAILS program. 1. Assist with program planning and implementation: handcycling, spinning, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, kayaking, sailing, wheelchair tennis, swimming, wellness and events. 2.Equipment maintenance and repairs 3.Compiles, sorts, and organizes data for entry into a database, distributes program information. 4.Answers telephones and gives information to callers, takes messages, or transfers calls to appropriate individuals. 5. Assists in the creation and distribution of program materials, forms, and general correspondence. 6.May provide program specific training. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required.
  • Two years of related experience
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to prioritize tasks
  • Expertise using MS Office software
  • Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Nice To Haves

  • Database experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be preferred.
