About The Position

The Program Assistant for the Institute of Emerging Health Professions (IEHP) will be responsible for support of programs and activities, including operational support of new/emerging initiatives. In supporting a broad array of IEHP programs and activities, the Program Assistant will be responsible for maintaining consistency and ongoing process improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Computer proficiency in word processing and basic Excel required
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as to function independently
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior professional work experience preferred.
  • Experience in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports programs directors and other IEHP leadership in the development and delivery of IEHP programs.
  • Works across all IEHP programs to maintain consistency, disseminate and implement best practices, and strengthen experiences across the continuum of learners.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for IEHP programs, communicating and providing faculty, staff, student support.
  • Develops and disseminates programs materials, assisting with marketing and recruitment.
  • Serves as IEHP point of contact liaison with IS&T, telecommunications, facilities, and other support offices.
  • Collects, tracks and processes programs data, maintain IEHP databases, and compiles reports as part of assessing/improving IEHP activities.
  • Schedules group meetings and planning events including arranging audio-visual, housekeeping, security and catering requests. Assist with set-up/break-down and staffing tables as needed.
  • Oversees IEHP general email accounts and telephone line.
  • Assists in organizing, prepping for and administering meetings and event planning.
  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
