  • Providing a range of diverse administrative support assignments, including assisting managers in evaluating programs and their effectiveness.
  • Performing routine and varying assignments in support of management efforts to evaluate, administer, and improve organizational efficiency.
  • Assisting in program areas such as finance, human resources, and scheduling.
  • Compiling, tracking, and analyzing data to support TSA field operations.
  • Coordinating the implementation of new office policies and writing procedural guidance.
  • Interacting with internal staff and external customers to exchange information and coordinate efforts.
  • Acting as a lead for other support staff to coordinate multiple assignments.
  • Preparing complex correspondence and evaluating the impact of policy changes.
  • Providing advanced computer assistance and conducting analytical studies under supervision.
  • Reviewing work of lower-level administrative support staff for accuracy and completeness.
  • Scheduling meetings and conducting analyses of agenda items.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National status.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the SV-E Pay Band or GS-8 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector.
  • Experience providing payroll or timekeeping support.
  • Experience assisting with the development of reports, formulating recommendations based on analyses, monitoring metrics, or researching files.
  • Experience in a federal agency or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of TSA policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
