We welcome all candidates who are inspired by our work and mission . The Washington County Circuit Court in Hillsboro, Oregon, is hiring a Treatment Court Program Assistant (Program Assistant). In this role, you will help evaluate applicants’ eligibility for treatment court program participation and submit determinations for approval. In collaboration with the treatment court team, you will monitor participants’ progress and enter incentives and sanctions into the electronic case management system. You will perform data entry, update program participants’ information, and prepare the treatment court dockets. You will maintain databases related to housing, restitution payments, and graduations. You will spend part of your time attending program participants’ court appearances to provide and collect information about their progress. Additionally, you will help facilitate the exchange of information among judges, court managers and staff, public and private organizations, program participants, and other interested parties to help participants and improve our treatment court program. You will recommend supportive services and resources to program participants and will help conduct an annual participant satisfaction survey. You will also help plan treatment court program events and graduation ceremonies. Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.

Requirements

  • The qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social/human services, or a closely related field.
  • One (1) year of increasingly responsible technical or professional-level program experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position.
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to five (5) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required.
