About The Position

Under the direction of the Aging Supervisor, the Program Assistant III provides essential front-line support for the Aging and Disability Resource Center’s transportation and senior nutrition programs. This position serves as a primary point of contact for phone calls and walk-in consumers, assisting with scheduling rides and meal services while providing helpful, respectful customer service. The role supports daily operations by coordinating transportation schedules, organizing driver routes, and ensuring accurate ride categorization. Responsibilities include assisting with fare collection processes, preparing daily deposits, and ensuring drivers have the necessary funds for service delivery. This position also plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, including daily data entry in PeerPlace and tracking program statistics. The Program Assistant works closely with team members, clients, volunteers, and community partners to support efficient program operations. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. This role requires sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds in a supportive and non-judgmental manner. This position is critical to ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality service delivery for older adults and individuals accessing ADRC programs.
