About The Position

- The Program Assistant II at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the program. This role involves assisting with the coordination of program activities, maintaining records, and facilitating communication between staff and clients. The Program Assistant II plays a crucial role in supporting the center's mission to provide quality behavioral health services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or program support role, preferably within a behavioral health or social services setting.
  • Experience in coordinating and managing schedules, meetings, and events.
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with database management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with diverse populations, including clients, staff, and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of program activities and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to program operations.
  • Facilitate communication between program staff, clients, and external partners.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of program budgets and expenditures.
  • Support program evaluation and improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program goals and strategies.
