The Program and Policy Analyst Advanced is responsible for overseeing program and policy matters related to consumer protection, enforcement initiatives, and regulatory bodies affiliated with the Department. The position involves independently gathering and analyzing data to address policy, procedural, operational, and organizational issues. It includes developing and implementing recommendations and plans that impact both the Division and the Department. The role requires conducting in-depth research, strategic planning, and analysis on complex issues, as well as formulating policy options. Additionally, the position performs a broad range of high-level administrative functions related to program management and engages with a diverse group of stakeholders-including elected and appointed officials at the state, local, and federal levels, professional associations, credential holders, the public, and the media.
