Hamline University is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Edmondson Heim Education Fellows Program. This position provides operational support and oversight of all program details for faculty, staff, and students. The Program Coordinator serves as the main point of contact for the program and is responsible for ensuring the application and selection process is followed, managing financial awards, maintaining program records, preparing annual reports, and supporting student fellows.

  • Ensure the Edmondson Heim Education Fellows Program application and selection process is followed, including Google application form and data capture.
  • Retain annual records of application and award information in Google Drive for a period of five (5) years.
  • Review applications in a timely manner and make award recommendations.
  • Establish or reaffirm written eligibility requirements consistent with the gift agreement.
  • Post criteria and make accessible to prospective and current Fellows, Faculty Fellows, President, Provost and Dean of the Faculty, and Office of Financial Aid.
  • Coordinate with Institutional Advancement to determine total funding available each year and manage the annual budget.
  • Notify all applicants of award or denial.
  • Collaborate with Financial Aid to ensure awards are dispersed properly.
  • Maintain accurate program records including student data and progress.
  • Track Student Fellows' participation in educational conferences, research, publishing, partner research, and other special opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit an Annual Report to the Institutional Advancement team by April 15th of each year.
  • Cultivate, develop, assess for learning outcomes, and implement internship opportunities for Student Fellows.
  • Identify, promote and arrange attendance at appropriate educational conferences for Student Fellows.
  • Provide support in application and reporting processes.
  • Organize, advertise, and ensure participation in belonging and recognition events.
  • Gather feedback from current and former Student Fellows and Faculty Fellows.
  • Collaborate with Academic Head of HSEL to identify and select Faculty Fellows.
  • Serve as liaison between Student Fellows, Faculty Fellows, University offices and Donors.
  • Promote the Program to eligible incoming or enrolled students at Hamline University.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Effective staff management, budgeting, networking and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative communication, use of social media and Google Suite tools.
  • Understanding of student experience, higher education and mentoring.
  • Multicultural competencies and experience in diversity integration.
  • Excellent writing and oral presentation skills.
  • Experience in the education field.
