The Program Analyst position at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is a critical role within the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). This position is designed to support the deployment of Command and Control, Battle Management, Communications (C2BMC) developmental assets, providing essential expertise for various test events, conferences, and tabletop exercises. The incumbent will conduct in-depth analyses of system requirements, maintenance actions, failure modes, corrective actions, and system updates specifically for the C2BMC System. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the systems are effectively utilized and maintained to meet operational demands. As a Program Analyst at the NH-0343-3 broadband level, the incumbent will engage in a variety of tasks that include conducting special studies with Combatant Commands (CCMDs) to deliver effective material solutions and advising on the proper employment of C2BMC systems. The position requires serving as a liaison between the MDA and the user community, analyzing and staffing Warfighter Involvement Process (WIP) items, and evaluating associated Prioritized Capability List (PCL) capabilities, limitations, and test requirements. Additionally, the analyst will coordinate the asset management process among the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Watch Officers, C2BMC Watch Officers, and warfighter support elements of the Agency. The role also involves developing strategic plans to ensure the availability and high-quality standards of the systems across multidisciplinary boundaries. The incumbent will conduct comprehensive studies and analyses to provide timely answers to urgent and emergent questions from the MDA and other external agencies or commands. This position is integral to the operational success of missile defense initiatives and requires a strong understanding of DoD organizational roles and responsibilities, as well as the ability to resolve complex engineering and operational problems.
