About The Position

Allegient Defense is seeking a Program Analyst to join our team in Arlington, Virginia. This full-time position involves providing technically oriented services that range from program management to advanced systems integration and engineering. The Program Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our Government clients by assisting with various aspects of contract management and project coordination. The ideal candidate will work closely with Government personnel to monitor and coordinate contracts and ongoing projects, ensuring that all activities align with established goals and compliance requirements. In this role, the Program Analyst will be responsible for developing systems for data collection and reporting, as well as maintaining accurate contract records. This includes researching and compiling statistics and data related to contracts and projects, monitoring timelines, and creating and maintaining files for program compliance. The analyst will prepare memorandums and reports that summarize statistical data and comparisons, while also keeping track of funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures associated with contracts and projects. Additionally, the Program Analyst will assist in the development and maintenance of budgets, ensuring that financial benchmarks are met. This involves reviewing invoices, developing projections regarding expenditure patterns, and preparing various financial reports. The role also requires the creation and maintenance of databases, where the analyst will enter and retrieve data, analyze information, and present reports. Monitoring recordkeeping procedures for accuracy and compiling data for program reports will be essential tasks. The Program Analyst will coordinate and organize meetings, assist with arrangements for presenters, and support communications related to registration information. This includes preparing fact sheets, brochures, charts, and multimedia presentations, as well as proofreading and editing documents. The analyst will also provide support to Program Officers in planning, managing, and monitoring major Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) projects, ensuring that program expenses are charged correctly and discrepancies are researched and resolved. Overall, this position requires proficiency in various computer applications, including MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Access, and MS SharePoint, to effectively manage and report on project schedules and deliverables.
